⚠️Update the latest information about super typhoon YAGI

Please be advised that the strongest typhoon to hit Northern Vietnam in the last decade is approaching. As of this morning (September 5th), Typhoon YAGI has reached a strength of category 15, and is expected to intensify into a super typhoon of category 16 today, faster than previously anticipated. It is forecasted that as YAGI enters the Gulf of Tonkin, it will maintain a strength of category 13-14, posing extremely dangerous conditions.
Yesterday afternoon, Vietnam's meteorological agency raised the typhoon warning level to category 15, and later to 15-16, with gusts exceeding category 17, nearing super typhoon strength.
Major meteorological stations worldwide have also heightened their alerts regarding Typhoon YAGI. The United States classifies it as having the power of a Category 4 storm (Saffir-Simpson scale), indicating severe destructive potential. Japan forecasts it as a category 15 storm, while Hong Kong suggests YAGI could reach super typhoon levels of category 16-17.
Worryingly, as YAGI moves into the Gulf of Tonkin on September 6th, it shows little sign of weakening. Residents and travelers in the northern provinces should closely monitor weather updates in the coming days to prepare appropriate measures to protect against the storm's impact.
