Yagi typhoon has left behind a huge damage and a lot of remote area in Northern part of Vietnam still suffering and find the missing persons. In responding to the call of the Si Ma Cai District, Bao Yen District, Bac Ha District, Lao Cai Province, Co De Chai Cooperative (Lao Cai Province), Enterprise Development Support Center, Agricultural Product Logistic Service Cooperative Union, we, the individuals representing VN Holidays and UK, Singapore, Australia team, call for support for the people of Si Ma Cai, Bao Yen, Bac Ha District, Lao Cai Province. We hope that we can support our people with the most essential necessities at this time such as:

1. Food: Drinking water, dry food, milk, sugar, bread, instant noodles, canned meat and fish, dried prawn, rice, fish sauce, salt, sugar, pots, bowls, chopsticks, ...;

2. Non-prescription medicines: Essential oils, skin fungus medicine, stomach ache medicine ...;

Save the plants

Thank you to everyone at VN Holidays' member, all the member's families, friends, colleagues, and relatives, who helped clean up and collect the trash, mud, and dirt... the consequences of the unprecedented Yagi storm in the past 30 years and the floods. • Number of Participants: 12 participants

✅The Cleanup Effort
Our dedicated team members rolled up their sleeves and got to work, focusing on:
1. Clearing debris from streets and public spaces
2. Collecting and properly disposing of rubbish
3. Assisting local residents in cleaning up their properties
4. Prune fallen tree branches, cover stumps and roots according to government guidelines, save fallen trees, restore and replant green trees.

👉Impact
Through our combined efforts with other community members and organizations, we were able to:
• Remove 0.6 tons of debris and rubbish
• Clear 2 kilometers of roads
• Assist 18 number of households

It might be the 1st time you see this flag of Vietnam. It is called: “The flag of the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam". It has a yellow star on a red and blue background. The upper half (red) represents the North which has become independent. The lower half (blue) represents the South which has not yet become independent, still under the yoke of the US empire and the regime of Ngo Dinh Diem. After the country was reunified, in 1976, a general election was held to elect the National Assembly; the National Assembly established the State, Government, unification and at the same time decided to change the name of the country to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and chose a red flag with a yellow star as the official flag of Vietnam. This shows that the two regions of North and South have been unified, rivers and and mountains converge into one.” Happy the 48 years of Vietnam Libration day 30th April and Labor day 1st May.

Có thể đây là lần đầu tiên bạn nhìn thấy lá cờ này. Mang tên Lá cờ của Mặt trận Dân tộc Giải phóng miền Nam Việt Nam, cờ có hình ngôi sao vàng trên nền cờ đỏ và xanh dương. Với ý nghĩa: nửa trên (màu đỏ) đại diện cho miền Bắc đã độc lập. Nửa dưới (màu xanh dương) tượng trưng cho miền Nam chưa được độc lập, còn dưới ách đô hộ của đế quốc Mỹ và chính quyền Ngô Đình Diệm. Sau khi thống nhất đất nước, năm 1976 tiến hành tổng tuyển cử bầu ra Quốc hội; Quốc hội thành lập Nhà nước, Chính phủ, thống nhất, đồng thời quyết định đổi tên nước thành Cộng hòa xã hội chủ nghĩa Việt Nam và chọn cờ đỏ sao vàng là quốc kỳ chính thức của nước Việt Nam. Điều đó thể hiện hai miền Nam, Bắc đã được thống nhất, non sông thu về một mối. Chúc mừng Ngày Giải phóng miền Nam và Ngày Quốc tế Lao động.
