Vietnam’s War Invalids and Martyrs Day holds deep significance for our nation. On this solemn occasion, we honor the sacrifices made by Vietnam’s ancestors in the long fight for independence. 🙏🎗️

📅 History and Significance:
The day serves as an opportunity to commemorate the wounded soldiers and martyrs who sacrificed their lives during Vietnam’s war of independence and national defense.

After the August 1945 Revolution, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam was established. However, the French colonialists attempted to invade the country again.
The entire army and people fought valiantly against the French occupation. Many soldiers and compatriots were wounded or lost their lives.

To ease the pain of loss for soldiers’ families, the Vietnamese government established the Association to Help Injured Soldiers (later renamed the Association to Help War Invalids).

On July 27, 1947, this day was officially designated as National War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day.

🕯️Activities and Commemoration:
On this day, state officials visit and give gifts to invalids (wounded veterans) and also spend time with families of martyrs and heroic Vietnamese mothers.

It’s a time to remember, honor, and repay those who made sacrifices for the Fatherland and its people.

Remembering and honoring those who served and sacrificed is a vital part of Vietnam’s national identity. 🙏🕊️

Let us pay tribute to these brave souls and their families, cherishing their memory and the resilience of our nation. 🌺

In the heart of Vietnam, Hanoi beckons with its timeless charm. Picture narrow alleys adorned with lanterns, where the aroma of pho mingles with the sounds of cyclos weaving through traffic. Here, history whispers through ancient temples, and the Old Quarter reveals secrets etched in its weathered facades.

First of all, we visited Tran Quoc Pagoda. Tran Quoc Pagoda is the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi, Vietnam. It holds significant historical and cultural importance, dating back over 1500 years. Whether you’re interested in Buddhism, history, or simply want to enjoy the serene surroundings, Tran Quoc Pagoda is a must-visit spot in Hanoi! 🏯🌸🙏

Leaving Tran Quoc Pagoda, we moved to Ho Chi Minh Complex. It is a historically significant site dedicated to the late President Ho Chi Minh. The complex features several components: Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House, The Presidential Palace, One Pillar Pagoda and The House No. 54. Visiting Ho Chi Minh Complex provides insights into Vietnam’s past and honors the legacy of this remarkable leader. 🙏

Our next destination was Vietnam Ethnology Museum, a fascinating institution that showcases the rich cultural diversity of Vietnam’s ethnic groups. Whether you’re interested in anthropology, cultural history, or simply want to appreciate the richness of Vietnam’s ethnic diversity, a visit to this museum is highly recommended! 🏛️🌟

After the lunch break with delicious local dishes, we continued to pay a visit to Temple of Literature is a remarkable historical site dedicated to Confucius and scholars. Visiting Temple of Literature offers a glimpse into Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage. If you plan to explore Hanoi, don’t miss this picturesque attraction! 🏛️

Our final stop of Hanoi city tour was Hoa Lo Prison, colloquially known as the “Hanoi Hilton”. If you’re ever in Hanoi, consider visiting this historic site to learn more about its significance.

We believe that a day journey to Ha Long Bay from Hanoi is well worth it for a number of reasons.

First of all, with its thousands of limestone karsts and emerald-green waters, Ha Long Bay is well known for its amazing natural beauty. The breathtaking scenery provides an experience that you won't soon forget and will wow you.

Secondly, Ha Long Bay's exceptional geological and cultural qualities have earned it recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can become fully immersed in this magnificent bay's rich history, customs, and intriguing mythology by exploring it.
Furthermore, a day excursion to Ha Long Bay provides various activities to participate in. You may kayak, swim, and even try your hand at squid fishing. To properly appreciate the destination's appeal, visit the picturesque caves and floating towns, which offer a look into the indigenous way of life.

Moreover, the convenience of a one-day Ha Long Bay tour from Hanoi allows you to enjoy the grandeur of Ha Long Bay even if you have limited time. You can go in the morning and return to Hanoi in the evening.

After a day of cruising through the emerald waters of Ha Long Bay, we found ourselves back in Hanoi, reflecting on the stunning limestone karsts, hidden caves, and picturesque islands. The sun set, casting a warm glow over the city, giving us a sense of contentment. The estimated time of arrival back in Hanoi at the end of the tour was between 7:30 PM and 8 PM.

To be honest, this trip was an experience that would stay with us long after. As we stepped onto the plane, memories of Hanoi and Ha Long Bay flooded our mind—the taste of pho, the warmth of the people, and the magic of Ha Long Bay. We carried these snapshots with us, promising to return someday—to explore further, to dive deeper, and to unravel more of its secrets. 🌏

Hanoi - the city you cannot miss when travel to Vietnam🗺️🗺

Hanoi, the capital city located in the north of Vietnam, is the perfect harmony between ancient charm and modern energy. Steeped in over 1,000 years of history, Hanoi boasts a unique blend of French colonial architecture and traditional Vietnamese life. Situated on the banks of the Red River, the city offers a captivating mix of towering skyscrapers and serene temples. This city boasts a typical fast development city with skyscrapers, highly populated, flashy with all the shopping malls and high-end retail stores. But lying within are all the beauty from the “old” Hanoi, where lives are slowly pacing, ancient French colonial buildings, artisan villages, and the traditional street cuisine. ☕️Hanoi is a feast for the senses, with delicious street food😋, hidden pagodas🏯, and a nightlife that throbs until dawn🌇. Here, you'll find a selection of international restaurants alongside trendy bars with rooftop seating overlooking the lake. Despite the modern developments, pockets of traditional Vietnamese life can still be found. Small family-run restaurants serve up delicious local specialties, while street vendors offer fresh fruit and snacks. Fond of staying

With the locals, coffee isn't just a drink; it's a ritual, a way of life, and a cultural cornerstone. You can easily have a cup of iced coffee straight from a small vendor on the street to a highly presentable coffee cup in a restaurant. In Hanoi, you will be welcomed to a whole different type of way to drink coffee by the locals that you will not find anywhere else on earth. Rich and creamy egg coffee, strong and sweet iced coffee with condensed milk, refreshing coconut coffee, etc. will make you fall in love on the spot!☕☕☕
