The grand ceremony of Miss Sangkarn, a cherished tradition honoring the seven daughters of Phra Kabinlaphom, was about to commence.

With great reverence, the esteemed monk was cordially invited to partake in this magnificent parade. The procession would embark from the sacred Mahathatu temple, traversing the bustling streets, and culminate at the revered Xiengthong temple. The purpose of this grand spectacle was to bestow blessings upon the monk through a sacred watering ritual, symbolizing purity, renewal, and spiritual rejuvenation.

As the sun cast its golden rays upon the ancient city, the air was filled with anticipation and excitement. The streets adorned with vibrant flowers, delicate incense wafting through the breeze, and the harmonious chants of devotees created an ethereal atmosphere.

Phi Lai Dia Tang pagoda - An amazing place to explore in 2024.
