โจPYS Travel Co., Ltd. has officially launched the luxury train Sjourney, marking a significant advancement in Vietnamโs railway tourism. The inaugural trip runs from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, spanning 7 days and 7 nights, offering an unparalleled and premium experience for travelers.
โจThe train is designed in a classic Indochinese style, featuring high-quality wooden interiors, plush bedding, and warm lighting, providing maximum comfort. Modern amenities include a five-star onboard restaurant serving gourmet meals that blend local and international cuisines, prepared by a team of professional chefs.
The train operates under the codes SE61 (Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City) and SE62 (Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi), departing every Wednesday evening. It stops at iconic destinations such as Ninh Binh, Quang Binh, Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang, and Phan Thiet, concluding the journey the following Wednesday morning. Each stop offers opportunities for travelers to explore the history, culture, and natural beauty of Vietnamโs regions.
โจThis project is a collaboration between PYS Travel, the Vietnam Railway Transport Corporation, Gia Lam Locomotive Factory, and the Vietnam Railways Corporation. Its goal is to elevate railway tourism in Vietnam while promoting the countryโs image internationally.
๐ฐIn December 2024, the ticket price for each passenger is $7,320 (approximately VND 177 million), inclusive of all meals and excursions. From 2025 onward, the price will increase to $8,610 (approximately VND 200 million).
