Dear our beloved friends! 💕

We're thrilled to tell you about an amazing charity program that we've recently discovered! Pigeon Spaces, a coworking space in Ho Chi Minh, Viet Nam is running a "Check-In For Charity" program that's changing lives in their local community.

It's such a simple but powerful way to make a real difference in people's lives. For every check-in at Pigeon Spaces on Facebook or Instagram, they will donate a certain amount of money to the charity fund. The more check-ins they receive, the more money they can raise to purchase gifts like food and other essential items for those in need.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about this important charity program. We hope that by spreading the word, we can help make a positive difference in the lives of those in need.

'𝗖à 𝗽𝗵ê 𝘃ợ𝘁' - 𝗖𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 ☕️☕️

Prior to the dominance of 'Cà phê phin'- coffee prepared in a filter or 'Cà phê máy' - machine coffee on the market, people in Saigon often used a fabric bag to purify the coffee. This type of coffee style is no longer commonly seen among younger generations. The fabric bag is filled with ground coffee, then dipped in the clay pot and stirred several times with a spoon. After that, people cover the lid on and “cook” the coffee about five to ten minutes until it can be served for your customers. Making coffee in this way always keeps the coffee purity and fresh. It can be seen that coffee in a fabric bag is a distinct feature of old Saigon. Here are 2 Café Vợt that have existed for more than half a century in Sai Gon, do not miss it !!

BEST "BANH MI" IN SAIGON
=====================
Bread "Banh Mi" seems familiar to people, especially Saigonese. Across the alleys you will almost always find familiar bread rolls. A piece of bread usually costs between 15 - 35k / lo, but there are also a number of bread shops, though more expensive than doubled, tripled but still crowded in and out. We will list the delicious bread shops in Saigon for everyone to eat!
1. Chicken Bread Tearing Non-Egg - 61 Dang Dung, Tan Dinh Ward, District 1
The cakes here are small but good quality, crispy intestine, not dry, fatty butter, aromatic pate, shredded chicken, ... The exclusive thing that makes up its own is young chicken eggs, lightly slug spice, still a little heart. dig. Closing post with a spoon of soy sauce soaked in vinegar and garlic, lightening the aroma of the abdominal cavity. Price 15k - 20k / drive. Sell from 6:30 to 12:30!
2. Dang Tran Con pan and bread - 8 Dang Tran Con, District 1
A small bakery stall is located at the corner of Dang Tran Con street, only sold in the morning until about 10-11h. Sausage, cheese, and ham are just ordinary instant foods, the special feature here is the pate and shiso with super-delicious dipping sauce, which also sells its own tiny pork bread. The uncle and aunt talk enthusiastically and gently, so cute!
3. An An Chicken Bread - 593 Nguyen Trai, Ward 7, District 5
Every bread can be lined with "seniority" more than 8 years. The most expensive bread in Saigon is here! Or there are other more familiar names: O lips bread. The current price is 45k / drive. Extremely decent quality! bite each piece of meat patties pâté it all came out, unlike the other places holding a loaf of bread on it collapsed ah!
5. Banh Mi + banh mi - 239/26 Tran Van Dang, P11, District 3
Enter the address like that, but should consider google maps, because this place is located right in the alley by the railroad. That line has 2 alleys 2 sides, 1 alley is 239 / odd and 1 alley is 239 / even numbers. Price 17k / loaf, fat bread, served with sweet and sour fish sauce and onion fat. Sell from 3pm, until 6pm so take advantage of the whole family!
6. Toad Bread - 199 Ly Tu Trong, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1
Ngoc Sang chicken bread shop has been for a long time, a small and simple place on the busy Ly Tu Trong street, opposite Thanh Thao Eel vermicelli alley is also a delicious place for anyone who wants to explore the moisture. 7. Cambodian buttered beef toast - 171 tribute Quynh, District 1
Price 5k - 10k à. Sell from 14h - 21h okay! First of all, the bread and butter toast here is the most favorite, the taste is very fat, but the aroma is very delicious, please note that if you eat enough, you will be bored with eating more. Beef skewers are equally delicious, also covered with layers of savory butter sauce. Should try the whole family!
8. Bread of Mr. Sausage - under the slope of Nguyen Van Cu bridge, Duong Ba Trac street, Ward 1, District 8
Price 35k / drive. The sausages here are mouth-to-mouth, light smoky, and taste like the bread from the old days or go to school or buy. It's going to be confusing to eat here because there are so many types of sausages!
9. Anh Phan Bread - 145 Cong Quynh, District 1, near Thai Binh market
There are many dishes from bread, dumplings, spring rolls, sticky rice, from vegetarian to salty, from salty to sweet. I like to stay here because I have a happy owner, I always smile, and the Khmer staff are polite and always give my two hands. Delicious, free table then!

Almost of travelers who visits Vietnam may ask or get confuse when a half of population call 'Ho Chi Minh city' and the other half are familiar with the name 'Sai Gon'. Is there any difference between this two names?
The answer is 'No', both name are the same. Vietnam's biggest city by populaion has not one but two names, both Ho Chi Minh and Saigon.
There are so many way to explain the meaning of word Saigon.According to some book, ‘Sai’ means firewood, ‘Gon’ is the name of the kapokier ( a type of plant) which were very popular in the area back then, and thus the term ‘Saigon’ was chosen to name this city.
So when was the city named Ho Chi Minh city?
Ho Chi Minh was the name of the first leader of North Vietnam, Socialist Republic of Vietnam. His name can be understood as enlightening one, but it aslo refers to his patriotism. After Vietnam war, 2th June 1976 the city was changed the name of Saigon to Ho Chi Minh City, in honour of the prime minister, a revolutionary leader of the communist party.
The name change was not voluntary on the part of those living in the South; it was a statement of the North’s success. As you can imagine, the move was radical at the time and many Saigonese locals fled the country.
People in Vietnam usually call Ho Chi Minh city ‘Saigon’ as a habit because it is a shorter way to address the city. Another reason for the easier to remember than ‘Ho Chi Minh’, and the ’SGN’ abbreviation is also used for flights form or to Ho Chi Minh city
