The first Metro in Saigon (HCMC) has been officially launched since 22 Dec, connecting Ben Thanh Market in District 1 to Suoi Tien Theme Park in Thu Duc City.

During the first month, passengers can ride the metro for free, along with 17 connected electric bus routes. After this period, passengers will have the option to purchase single-ride tickets, as well as one-day, three-day, or monthly passes.

Established as the capital of unified Viet Nam in 1802, Hue was not only the political but also the cultural and religious centre under the Nguyen dynasty until 1945.

Under the resolution, Hue becomes Vietnam’s sixth centrally governed city, joining Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hai Phong, and Can Tho.

Hue’s establishment as a centrally governed city is not about meeting urbanization quotas but about safeguarding the UNESCO-recognized heritage of the former imperial capital.

* Located on Mt. Balwangsan and is the largest ski and snowboarding resort in Korea.
* Altitude : 700 to 1,458m above sea level with 4,300 acres.
* Snowfall : Annual average 250cm and average Temperature : -6 ℃.
* Ski Season : Mid-November ~ Late March.
* Slopes : 28.
* Lifts : 14 (including 1 cable car).
* Rental Shops : 3,000 sets of Skis and Snowboards.
Other Facilities : Lodging, Golf, Restaurants, Ball Rooms, Meeting Rooms, Leisure Sports facilities etc.

☃️ VIVALDI PARK SKI WORLD
* Attracted ski lovers with their one-day skiing and nighttime skiing options as well as offering large accommodation facilities.
* It takes about 1.5 hours from Seoul.
* It's a popular ski resort in Hongcheon, South Korea. It's a top destination for winter.
* Slopes : 12 for with modern lifts and gondola cable cars.
Other Facilities: Water park called Ocean World, golf courses, and chairlifts with scenic views.

* Area 48.6 million square meters around Sulibong Peak in Hoengseong-gun, Gangwon-do.
* Located in a region that often experiences heavy snow, providing the perfect skiing environment.
* Facilities including gondolas that are able to transport 20,000 skiers per hour, and an automatic snow-management system.
* Slopes : 20, including seven internationally certified slopes.

The must-see old folk villages in South Korea: 🌤 BUKCHON HANOK Surrounded by Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine, Bukchon Hanok Village is home to hundreds of traditional houses, called hanok, that date back to the Joseon dynasty. 🌤 OEAM VILLAGE A typical rural town of Korea, is a clan village. Oral traditions have it that it was about 500 years ago when people first inhabited the village site. 🌤 SEONGEUP VILLAGE The entire village, which preserves the living site of the people of old Jeju, has been designated as an Important Folklore Cultural Heritage. Though it can be considered a folk village of sorts, it differs from regular folk villages in that people still live in it to this day. 🌤 HAHOE FOLK VILLAGE This beautiful village in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, near the city of Andong, is located in the heartland of the Joseon Dynasty, which ruled the Korean peninsula for over 500 years between 1392-1910. Hahoe Folk Village is a clan-based village and is UNESCO-recognized for its layout reflecting Confucian ideals during the Joseon dynasty.
