HIKING THE TERRACES OF MU CANG CHAI🚶‍♀️

🌾 Mu Cang Chai, a rural district of Yen Bai province in the northwestern region of Vietnam. Mu Cang Chai district is often dubbed the “Kingdom of Terrace Fields” with large areas of rice fields that have been carved into the high mountain slopes by local ethnic minority peoples for centuries.

🌾 The terraced fields of Mu Cang Chai are listed as National Heritage and have become a popular destination for both hikers and photography lovers. The best time to visit is during rice harvest season in late September and early October or in May and June when farmers water the fields to prepare for new crops. Join our 1 full day excursion to explore the region:
We will depart at 9:30am to visit La Pan Tan village of Blue Hmong ethnic minority people. we will stop in some local houses. visit terrace rice fields. here you can learn how to plant the rice. After that, we will continue walking to see Raspberry Rice Terrace before heading to Thai Village for lunch. we will enjoy Thai traditional home cooked foods. After lunch, you continue doing an other trekking to Kim Noi village. The trek takes three hours. The tour finish in the late afternoon.

This trip is highly recommended to combine with Sapa.

PU LUONG- PARADISE IN THE WILDERNESS 🌄

Pu Luong is the home of Thai, Muong ethic people and it is renowned for its terraced field, colorful botanic field and traditional villages. It’s a great spot for those seeking peace and authentic cultural experiences. Currently, Pu Luong’ terraced field is at its best period and here is some other suggestion when you visit Pu Luong:

🌾 Kho Muong village: A village full with traditions and culture of Thai people, the village is surrounded by terraced field and has the wild beauty. Standing from here, you can catch a whole view of corn field and terraced field.

💦 Hieu waterfall: Hieu waterfall has a really strong and clear stream of water. It is tourists favorite place in the summer because it provides us with the natural “pool bath”. It is a great spot for relaxation.

⛰ Pu Luong peak: You can get a bird-eye view standing on Pu Luong peak, embrace poetic landscape of mountains, forests, fields, and valleys at the foot of the mountain. You can also camp here to watch the star at night and feel the peace of Pu Luong.

🛖 Son-Ba-Muoi three village: This place is quite isolated from the outside so to this day many customs of the ancient Thai people are still preserved, the traditional stilt houses have many unique features of the local people. At these villages, you can admire the majestic natural scenery, get up early to hunt clouds, learn about the lives of people in the area and enjoy delicious specialties.
