Are you a coffee lover? I absolutely adore coffee and drink it every morning. During my time in Vietnam, I consumed 2 cups of coffee on weekdays to energize me for the long hours of working on my laptop and attending meetings. To start my day, I always finish the first cup of "Cafe sua da", a Vietnamese coffee made with a coffee grinder and condensed milk. Unlike other countries, we don't use fresh milk for our coffee. The condensed milk adds sweetness to the coffee, but it still has a bitter and intense taste due to the use of robusta beans and a grinder. Just one cup of Vietnamese coffee is enough to keep you energized all day. However, if you drink it after 2 pm, you may have difficulty sleeping at night, and your heart may start racing. I personally experienced this, so I advise you to avoid trying it for the first time in the afternoon. Vietnamese coffee is available in both hot and cold options, but most people prefer the cold version, "Cafe sua da," as the weather in Vietnam is usually hot, and ice is added to almost all drinks. If you visit Vietnam, I highly recommend trying our "cafe sua da", but make sure to avoid having it in the afternoon for the first time. I hope you will love it as much as I do!
