Celebrating 8 Years of Scivi Travel with a Heartwarming Volunteer Day in Saigon

As Scivi Travel turns 8, we wanted to celebrate in a way that reflects our core values: connection, compassion, and community. This year, we chose to spend our special day with 105 incredible kids at a local school for street children in Saigon. Together with our team and amazing volunteers, we rolled up our sleeves to cook spaghetti and bring smiles to these young hearts.

A Day to Remember

From early morning preparations in the kitchen to serving plates of warm spaghetti, the energy was electric. The joy on the kids’ faces as they enjoyed the meal reminded us of the power of small acts of kindness.

And the surprises didn’t end there – the children gifted us handmade cards and heartfelt wishes for Scivi Travel’s 8th birthday. Sharing a birthday cake with them turned the day into a celebration of hope, community, and gratitude.

It’s our honor to host the first group of 11-grade students from Vinschool Grand Park for their observation internship plus an exciting morning walking tour to explore the hidden stories of Saigon. The students had their time exploring the life of travel professionals, built their own tours and even a business plan to promote their tours to international tourists to Vietnam!

At Phap Van Temple in Ho Chi Minh City, students had the opportunity to partake in mindful walking, a practice deeply rooted in the teachings of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. Through his compassionate guidance, he established the School of Youth for Social Services in 1964, aiming to provide aid to those affected by the conflict.
