This trip has gone ways I never expected...... In the name of adventure, Count Dorkula and I have travelled to some very remote places..... I am absolutely shocked that I am able to speak with them so much better than other areas. Though I am not, it seems I am almost fluent here butblacking the more I go south.

Strangely..... The Expedia search links may may not function properly due to some kind of Facebook thing, however it functions normally if you go to the webpage by all other means.
Just close and open again not using Facebook. I am trying to figure it out but no su ess so far. Any ideas?

Dropped 70 pounds and ready! Headed back to Ha Giang province in April for a final personal adventure by motorcycle. The plan is to experience the few remaining areas left that I have never visited. After completion there will be no areas of Vietnam that I have not been.

This year's tours all finished. It has been a blast and I look forward to returning as long as there is interest in sharing an experience with me.
My personal highlights were:
Visiting and letting so many people know the fate of Mai and I. We were truly missed and the happiness of seeing them caused a lot of emotions.
I had 2 damaged teeth that were treated in Canada as a lost cause repaired and with a guarantee combined with a free follow up next year..... The cost? 25 CAD (one broken enamel and one with hole. Both filled.)
Driving is becoming even more difficult and dangerous. Hopefully I will have enough for next time that I can hire a larger bus and driver so the stress is less.

The future of RipTide tours Vietnam is in your hands. If you are looking at big savings for dental procedures or timely services in a well equipped hospital...... Take a holiday at the same time.

Unfortunately I did not have time to address a medical issue it seems I cannot have dealt with at home...... Next year for sure.

Overnight in D**g Xoai. It has been a long time since the locals have seen a foreigner. What a great sensation. Vietnam countryside feels like it was 25 years ago. This is the perfect time to visit if you have been thinking about it.
Last night in Cao Lanh. Met Lam who owns the Huyen Duc hotels...... Best place in a wonderful town. I will be back.
