Sapa Hmong Original Trek

Sapa Hmong Original Trek My name is Apao! I will be your tour guide to visit Hmong villages around Sapa. I will show you the beauty of my home and tell you the stories behind it.

Greetings Everyone! My name is Apao. I am a Hmong tour guide that was born in Lao Chai village about 12 kilometers from Sapa. I have lived in this area all of my life. I have a large family- 11 people; I have 6 sisters, and two younger brothers. I am number 8 among my siblings. We live in a village up high on the mountain. Our main sources of food are rice and corn, which we grow by ourselves. Whe

n I was about 10 years old, I would help my parents to work on our farms every day after school. I was fortunate to be able to attend secondary school for a couple of years, but then I had to give up on my education because we couldn't afford it. However, I was still able to learn English while attending secondary school. Now I feel like I am one of the lucky people because I can speak English. So I have the opportunity to work as a tour guide and I have met many tourists from all around the world. I have learned many good things from them as well. I welcome everyone that is interested in visiting Hmong villages around Sapa (Vietnam). I would like to be your tour guide and I would like to show you around several beautiful Hmong Villages and tell you the stories behind them. I am sure that you will not be disappointed after I have shown you these places. I am sure that it will be a memorable one. Thank you very much and I hope to see you in Sapa soon in the near future. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me at my phone number or email address. Again, I hope to see you here soon.
