🌟 A slim old man with long white hair and bright eyes sitting under a tree behind his house making a 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢 - a traditional musical instrument of the Raglai ethnic minority. That old man is artist 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐥é𝐚 𝐀𝐮, one of very few Raglai in the region who still makes chapis and has retained the ability to fine tune the sound of this instrument.

🌟 According to Chamaléa Au, he was taught to play chapi when he was a child, which was the case for all Raglai children. Other children grew up and lost interest for the instrument whereas Chamaléa Au chose to continue making and tuning the chapi using skills learned from his father. His chapis are always of the best quality. At cultural events and festivals of the village his chapi is always present.

🌟 Artist Chamaléa Au is considered to be one of the very few remaining members of Raglai community in Ninh Son District (Ninh Thuan Province, Vietnam) who can make, play and tune the chapi. He can also make other musical instruments.

🌟 It includes a procession on October 13th in Hữu Đức village to welcome the deity Po Inâ Nâgar. The main festivities occur on October 14th at the Po Rome and Po Klaong Girai temples, showcasing traditional rituals, performances, and handicrafts.

🌟 This festival holds great significance for the Cham community as they honor their ancestors and seek blessings for abundance and prosperity.

🖼 The Vietnam Book of Records has recognised a mural painting located in Ninh Hai district in the southern central coastal province of Ninh Thuan as the longest in the country with the theme of environmental protection.

🖼 The mural is located on road 702, Dam Vua area, Tri Hai commune, Ninh Hai district, Ninh Thuan province. It is 737m long and 1.5m high.

🖼 From Phan Rang city, it takes about 15 to drive motorbikes to the wall mural in Dam Vua area.

🖼 The paintings feature various topics such as fishing village, traditional crafts, famous tourist spots, and environmental protection.

The Ninh Thuận Grape and Wine Fest, with the theme "Land of Unique Values", officially began June 15 in Phan Rang-Tháp Chàm City, Ninh Thuận Province.

UNESCO also recognised at a ceremony that the art of pottery making by the Chăm people is an Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding.

Grapes are a specialty and industrial crop of Ninh Thuận, contributing about 20 per cent of the province's agriculture GDP. The province has 1,060ha of grape crops, with an annual output of 30,000 tonnes.

The event is an opportunity for the province to promote tourism with its long beautiful coastline, the distinctive culture of the Chăm people, and its unique cuisine.

The 16-kilometer pass runs along the coast and Chua Mountain in Ninh Thuan Province, where there are unique dry forests in Vietnam.

Representatives of Indian travel companies are joining a Famtrip delegation to Ninh Thuan to seek tourism cooperation opportunities in the south-central coastal province.

The delegation visited Po Klong Garai tower and enjoyed the unique folk music and dance of the Cham people, traveled to Bau Truc Village and learned the pottery-making art of the Cham people which was inscribed by UNESCO on the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Protection. They also experienced brocade weaving craft of Cham people in My Nghiep Village.

Other destinations in Famtrip are Cham Cultural Research Center, Vinh Hy Bay, Rai Cave, Thai An Grape Village...

The event offered a good chance for Ninh Thuan to promote the image of the province and its people, unique culture, landscapes and typical tourism products; and share information towards setting up business cooperation with Indian tourism firms.

🌻 We were truly blessed to have guided such a delightful trip with the lovely family of 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥, 𝐊𝐢𝐦, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐛𝐨𝐲𝐬 𝐋𝐢𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐨. The parents are not only passionate educators but also inspiring role models, who instill the love of learning in their children and make every moment count.

🌻 Together, we explored the stunning 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤, wandered through the refreshing 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐝 and enjoy delicious grape juice, walk through the picturesque area around 𝐋𝐨 𝐎 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦, dining with a wonderful view of 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐡 𝐇𝐲 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞, marveled at the rich history of the 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐡 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞'𝐬 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦, and admired the breathtaking 𝐏𝐨𝐤𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐢 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞.

🌿I had the pleasure of taking my dear friend Myriam on a motorbike adventure along the stunning 𝐌𝐮𝐢 𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝 in Phan Rang Thap Cham. We rode past white sand dunes, towering wind turbines, and caught a glimpse of a French-built lighthouse.

🌿We visited 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐡 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦, and Myriam has a curious soul that loves to explore the small, hidden gems of Vietnam, and Phan Rang-Thap Cham is definitely one of them. This beautiful city is filled with culture, history, and natural beauty, but it's off the beaten track and relatively unknown.

🌿Our friend Myriam from France had a blast exploring the beautiful 𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐝 in Phan Rang - Thap Cham (Ninh Thuan Province) and trying fresh grapes, grape products, grape syrup, and local wine.

🌿We also visited the natural stone formations in 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 and the stunning 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐢 (𝐑𝐚𝐢 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤), where we were surrounded by the blue ocean.

🌿Finally, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at 𝐃𝐨𝐚𝐢 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Vinh Hy Bay.

🌿We visited the relatively new but grand 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨 𝐓𝐮 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐝𝐚, which offers breathtaking views of the city.

🌿We also explored the stunning 𝐏𝐨𝐤𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐢 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞, a Champa architecture masterpiece built around the end of 13th century.

🌿Of course, we couldn't miss stopping by a 𝐜𝐨𝐳𝐲 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐟𝐞 for some authentic Vietnamese coffee.
