How to cook a BÑnh Xèo?

Prepare ingredents:

A mixture of dough (grinded rice & water), tumeric, chicken eggs and green onion. How to mix it? You need a cooking class, contact LinLin πŸ™‚

A mixture of filling including shrimp, duck, pork, carrot, jicama

A pan

Oil

A stove

Now, it’s time to cook…

Step 1: Heat the oil (fire strong enough)

Step 2: Get one big spoon, pour the mixture, round slowly the pan

Step 3: Put mixture of filling

Step 4: Have a gossip in 5 minutes while waiting for the dough get crispy (put fire very low)

Step 5: Fold into half and put the BÑnh Xèo on a plate to get ready for eating

Step 6: Deep in fish sauce, eat BÑnh Xèo with various types of tropical vegetables such as basil, salad, mint, leaves of mango, leaves of ambarella, etc.

Step 7: Enjoy your moments with good friends

Cycling ladies with happiness on their faces

They started very early from their houses to a gathering point at 5:30 AM. Everyone were very excited for a journey to enjoy their dim sum breakfast away 20 km. On the way to the place a lady leader tried to navigate the route to off-road to challenge themselves to overcome obstacles of mud and gravels and enjoy fresh air. They cycled relaxing at speed of 18kmh and paid a visit to a beautiful monastery. After having the delicious breakfast with dim sum and noodles they had full energy to choose a long distance back by the way crossing a river by a ferry.

Within a morning they biked 50 km and some ladies rode more than 70 km back their home. What a cool morning ride in Saigon!

GoNeat story

One day in May 2019, LinLin was thinking how to overcome her status of unsuccesful love. At a moment, she had an idea that she liked traveling such as cycling, trekking & camping, she liked tasting foods, those activities which were forming a journey for any travellers. Then she told to herself that she had been hosting friends worldwide for many years since 2012, why she didn’t create for her own slogan, then GoNEat was still in her mind.

Next day, a friend of her Nikita Ngoc came and LinLin explained her ideas and expectation. Unhesitatingly, Ngoc started to draw the logo GoNEat by Office Word over a night at an apartment of Masteri T1. That’s our first version of GoNEat logo meaning Go And Eat which was printed on T-shirts.

One week later, Brother Tam (normally called Anh Tam who is living in Canada and as LinLin’s friend for about 12 years) and his two daughters Elsa & Anais came Saigon and visited LinLin. They stayed at LinLin’s place & traveled together around the city. Elsa is a sentimental girl who is very good at art and drawing meanwhile Anais is an active girl with dancing & music. About a month later on 24 June 2019, Elsa sent LinLin a picture and said that she just designed a new logo of GoNeat by a new software for drawing on her iPad and if LinLin wished to refresh the existing logo. At first sight, LinLin fell in love with the design as it’s very clear for the meaning and the message which LinLin wanted to express. Then immediately LinLin changed all the recognition on her page as it’s the current logo of GoNeat, which was printed on hats and other products.

When you plan to travel all around Vietnam and you want to have friends to accompany with you on cycling, trekking, camping trips, don’t hesitate to contact LinLin and her friends to experience Go And Eat = GoNeat = Đi VΓ  Δ‚n.
