Kayak and snorkel the beautiful warm waters of Vanuatu, guided by local Mele Village ladies. As you kayak over to a small sand island you can learn about the history of Port Vila, the incredible wildlife and what life in paradise is like. Once arrived on the island you can snorkel the surrounds finding vibrant coral, tropical fish and if your lucky you could spot a dolphin or turtle. Kayak back to the mainland and enjoy fresh local fruits and try coconuts direct from the tree.

Time to book a flight to Port Vila?

Air Vanuatu has announced the introduction of year round advanced purchase fares on domestic flights to Tanna and Santo as part of the airline’s ongoing fare review and 30 year anniversary celebrations.

Chief Executive Officer Joseph Laloyer announced the fare review earlier this year saying the national carrier was committed to listening to feedback from frequent flyers and industry partners whilst delivering a safe and sustainable commercial operation.
“We’ve come a long way in 30 years and are proud of our achievements, however many of these would not have been possible without the support of our loyal local customers,”
he said.

“As such, we are pleased to announce these Vanuatu specials; passengers wishing to
book flights to and from Port Vila to Santo or Tanna will now receive a 15% discount for booking seven or more days in advance, or a 30% discount if booked 21 or more days in advance,” Mr. Laloyer said.

“These new fares were originally planned for a limited sale period but we have extended
the offer to be year round as part of our 30 year anniversary of operations.”

The advanced purchase fares are for sale only in Vanuatu and applicable on ATR72 domestic operated services. Fares are subject to availability. Passengers should contact Air Vanuatu reservations directly to book.

More of the amazing city that is Port Vila shared here.

Vanuatu's variety restaurants surprised me. I joined the Friday night curry night, ate the fruit bat (yes!), medium-rare Santo beef and dug into amazing platters of fresh seafood. You could eat out every night and not visit the same place twice!

Paddle in Paradise! The barrier reef of Mele Bay is our tour location – come with us and kayak, swim and snorkel in its warm blue waters. Our local Mele guides will lead you to your own sand island, and share their knowledge of their environment and secrets of their culture. We promise picture perfect scenery, and hope our resident dolphins and turtles join you. An adventure suitable for all age groups, no experience necessary. The Mele Council of Chiefs recently declared our tour location a conservation area.
