We initially started the concept of a tour operator early in 2016. Typical days at the wharf were transport operators have to negotiate with travelers and reach a consensus about the charge/fare of the day. Not only would this make our work easier but it will also facilitate the hassle of finding a convenient transportation for the day for travelers. It has taken us quite a long time to make a na

me for ourselves. Adding from our ongoing presence in Social Media we also have partnerships with renowned tour agencies in the global market that advertise our tours. We have learned to take one step at a time and give travelers value for their money. We take pleasure in telling visitor about our country's history and also how the tourism sector's contribution is essential to our country's economic development. We hope that Yumi Tours will be present in the years to come and hopefully become a major player in the tour business in Vanuatu. The Yumi Tours Team

🚨IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T HEARD! 👇🏾

The Government of Vanuatu, through the Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Utilities (MIPU) and the Civil Aviation Authority of Vanuatu (CAAV), has granted a Foreign Air Operator Certificate (FAOC) to Australia’s Alliance Airlines.

This addition complements the services of Qantas and Jetstar, which have been operating in the country following the liquidation of Air Vanuatu last year.

The Acting Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vanuatu (CAAV), Wilfred Makaba, informed Daily Post Newspaper that Alliance Airlines will operate as a substitute for Qantas on routes where larger aircraft are not required, deploying its smaller Embraer aircraft.

“The service is scheduled to commence on the 30th of this month, with the inaugural flight arriving in Vanuatu at 2:10pm,” said Makaba.

“This development enhances the number of foreign airlines operating in Vanuatu, thereby boosting tourism. The FAOC granted to Alliance Airlines is valid for 12 months, similar to those issued to Qantas and Jetstar.”

"Julian, our guide, was very polite and friendly, and was very informative about all that we were seeing as we were driving from each experience to the next. The Buggy Adventure was a thrilling, fun and giggle-filled way to start the day - wear some clothes you don't mind getting dirty! The Blue Lagoon was an enchanting escape and a great way to cool and wash off after Buggy riding. We were served a delicious and plentiful BBQ lunch of assorted meat (minute-steak, chicken wings and sausages) and local salads (curried paw paw, coleslaw-style, potato-style) at Eden on the River, but unfortunately we couldn't experience the swimming options due to significant rain the day prior (the water was quite muddy). We were fortunate however, to do this tour on a non-Cruise Ship docking day - as we were advised that these attractions are significantly busier when the Cruise Ships are in town."
