Wishing our wonderful GM a very happy birthday today... She walked into our lives over 13 years ago bold and full of confidence and we knew she was one special mumma. She has many nicknames in our VBA family but the one that fits today is Miss Independence seeing as she shares her special day with that of Vanuatu's Independence Day today! There is nothing this woman will not put her mind to and accomplish, she is a go getter and we are so proud to have her head up our VBA family team! Love you to the moon and back Mumma Juliette and enjoy your special day (after you've washed off your flour dousing from this morning...lol)

Enjoy safe swimming at your doorstep or enjoy a cocktail 🍹 🍸 on the pool deck! Take a short 100m walk to the left to the famous Mele Beach Bar Fire 🔥 Show and enjoy authentic wood fired pizzas 🍕 or take the ferry over to Hideaway Island featured in the video for some amazing snorkeling 🤿 🐠 🐟

Look at these 2 cuties who started with us way back when we opened in 2013! Happy Birthday today to our beautiful Jacky (on the left) She truly is one of best humans you will ever meet in your life, we love her like family and always enjoy a good laugh with her….Juliette (on the right) always loves a good selfie with her of course, our camera rolls are full of them, but I just love this one of the two of them! Please wish Jacky a happy birthday today! I’m sure by the days out she will have been egged and floured so many times as Island 🏝️ Style Birthdays 🎉 🎂 🥳 are celebrated here!

To our amazing guests, family and friends,

What a week we've had in Vanuatu!!! Our little piece of paradise was spun around a few times with the visit of Judy and Kevin both category 4 cyclones deciding to rendezvous within 2 days of each other... All the buildings at VBA are all ok with a big cleanup underway of trees and fences, but our main focus is to help our VBA Beachfront Family restore their homes to a safe and clean state. We've started a little fundraiser that even a few dollars will provide much needed supplies. Damien and I of course are doing everything we can to help but a wider network of support will ensure a bigger and faster impact to the lives of these beautiful people.

We hope to see you back on our shores very soon as holidaying here in Vanuatu will be the best way to help support our happy little island.

Our Beachfront family has had such an amazing time meeting new people and welcoming them since our reopening, but it is always so hard to say goodbye! Tonight we are “temporarily” saying goodbye to Jim and Sue who have been with us for 30days. And it has been 30 days of taste testing Jim’s amazing desserts to which our girls have sat at the beach tables taking lessons to how he makes them. We all have bottles of his very tasty homemade Tomato sauce… and we all will very much miss both his and Sue’s silhouette’s on the pool deck at sunset! We are so glad our paths crossed and hope your birthday celebrations were truly memorable and look forward to your return back to your beachfront family ###

Woohoo!!!! So very proud of our Beachfront family having their vaccinations today! They truly are a team who work, love and stay safe together! They have been working very hard to maintain your Island paradise so it is just as perfect as you remember... You will be happy to know myself and Damien have had them under our wing all this time keeping the family together! We are just missing all of our wonderful guests, or as we like to refer to as our extended family that we hope to see again very soon ###
