Our numbers are nowhere near Fiji at the moment but careful planning and an orchestrated effort by all of our people can help us reach the same levels.

Over 80,000 pax arrived into via cruise ships in 2024. This is in addition to the 980,000+ counted and announced each month who arrive via the airport. So, in 2024 we will have welcomed 1.06M tourists - a huge effort and fantastic for our visitor economy. 2025 is off to a great start as we hit peak cruising season.

This week we welcomed the Crown Princess and MS Europa to Fiji. Significantly MS Europa visited Taveuni. Over 5K pax are onboard these vessels. The significant koro that springs up around the ships, and the work that goes into shore excursions does not happen by chance. A large team of hard working people across various organisations in Fiji ensures guests have a safe and wonderful time in Fiji, and as much spend as possible comes into Fiji from these shore excursions, tours, shopping and visits. Its a significant industry for Fiji, and great to see the benefits flowing out to more of our beautiful islands and villages, and tourism businesses.

This lively group of people from different countries are visiting family after years away from home and they wanted to reconnect with their roots.

It was therefore an honour to be asked to give them a day to remember.

To be honest, it wasn't easy when we had so much rain throughout last night and anxiety had set in on me in the morning, especially knowing how the road to Fagaloa would be like. However, being on the bus today and going through the experience we had leaves us in awe of God's favor upon our lives when we put our trust in Him!

Thank you Jesus! God is great!

And then...it was our last tour for 2024. It was Vasco Da Gama's maiden voyage around the world and stopped in Apia for a day.
The swells were unexpectedly rough in the morning and it caused a little bit of a worry as the captain gave extra caution before she could let the passengers disembark.
I was starting to panic as well, and then finally after about 40 minutes of waiting, one by one they started coming out and my clients were amongst the first ones off the ship, eager to get their share of our experiences!
Once the buses were loaded, it was Showtime!
