rt connecting via the West Coast Road. Previously called ‘Hotel Teuila’, (named after our national flower) the property changed ownership in late January 2014. The new owners then carried out major renovations, improvements and reinforcement works to the 2 buildings on the property. The hotel aims to provide a theatrical atmosphere which caters to the senses where all elements of technology, landscape, service, history, art and music, convenience and hospitality are coordinated in such a way to create a happy, warm, intimate and positive environment, over and above security and comfort. The Hotel is a fully-serviced accommodation with superior standard and deluxe rooms. Travellers Point Hotel is an exciting and vibrant place to visit, it allows for tourists to interact with locals and vice versa at its Calliope Bar and Bistro (named after the British War Ship HMS Calliope, sole survivor of the storm on the Apia Harbour during a gunboat diplomacy between the Germans and the Americans in 1889). The Calliope Bar & Bistro is a convenient place to meet friends and often frequented by local business people and professionals, but leaving the rest of the facilities for the privacy of its guests by 11pm.
