Dear visiting citizens and tourists, due to the high temperatures these days in the city of Prizren, please do not go out during the hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Also, due to the heavy traffic, avoid the central parts and the entrance parts to the city if you do not need to go out by car, and especially from 07:30 to 09:00, then from 12:00 to 13:00 and from 19:00 to 22:00.

The participants from the tourism training have visited several other tourist spots in Prizren such as Prizren Castle, Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, The Halveti tekke and Marash Maple. Leading by the trainer Flaka Bamja from Tourist Information Center Prizren , they are learning and preparing a lot to be new city guides for the future.

Tourism Development and creation new city guides - training
Tourism is a major contributor to employment creation particularly for women and youth. The aim of this training is educating and creating skills training for the guiding profession as a potential for new jobs. So the objective is this training to be driving force of job creation, economic growth and development.
The main goal of this project is tourism development in Prizren and creating a new guides group well prepared for tourists. This training will empower participating youth to build and strengthen their self-initiative and self-development in the future, for self-employment. They can create their own touristic company or can work as personal guides for tourists. In one way we will open the path for sustainable economic perspective through tourism.
The training will be divided into two parts.
1- Theoretical part - training by experts
2- Practical part - in the city (Prizren)
At the end participants will be certified. This project is financed by American Embassy and implemented by American Corner Prizren.
