After every RVer purchases a “new” rig, they do something called a “shakedown trip”. The point of a “shakedown trip” is to get familiar with the rig, see what works/ what doesn’t work and to figure out how to organize all the stuff inside the RV.
RV renters go through the same process in the first 24 hrs of a trip. This process can be stressful for even seasoned RVers like ourselves, but you will soon get into a rhythm and figure everything out as the trip progresses.
For us, the RV refrigerator wasn’t at temperature when we departed so we had to pack our groceries in an ice chest. Inconvenient but not a big issue.

Countdown to National S'mores Day!
During quarantine last year, we recorded a few cooking videos to help pass the time. Today we are sharing a home video of one of our favorite recipes, S'mores Crispy Treats.
Ingredients:
I-10oz bag mini marshmallows
1 cup chocolate chips/chunks
1-12 oz box Golden Gram cereal
6 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
