A few years ago during a trip to Yelowstone & Grand Teton National Park we came across this app call GuideAlong that provided audio tour guides based on your GPS location. It was so helpful since there was no cell phone signal inside the parks. When using the audio tour, we didn't miss an important landmark and it also provided great historial stories and information about what we were seeing along the way.

We recently used the audio tour yet again for our road trip to Key West, Florida! I won't plan another road trip without it! I may be planning all of our future road trips based on if they have the GuideAlong audio tour! 🫣

After every RVer purchases a “new” rig, they do something called a “shakedown trip”. The point of a “shakedown trip” is to get familiar with the rig, see what works/ what doesn’t work and to figure out how to organize all the stuff inside the RV.
RV renters go through the same process in the first 24 hrs of a trip. This process can be stressful for even seasoned RVers like ourselves, but you will soon get into a rhythm and figure everything out as the trip progresses.
For us, the RV refrigerator wasn’t at temperature when we departed so we had to pack our groceries in an ice chest. Inconvenient but not a big issue.
