Solitary Eagle🦅

White-shouldered Antbird 🐦
🔭(Akletos melanoceps)

It is a species of passerine bird of the Thamnophilidae family that can be observed in the department of Loreto, Amazonas, and northern Ucayali.

The male is jet black with a small blue skin around the eyes. In comparison, the female has a striking color of black head, reddish-brown plumage, and blue skin around the eyes.

Humboldt Penguin 🐧

It is a no-fly bird species that lives in the Pacific Ocean along the west coast of South America in Peru and Chile, which the Humbolt Current crosses.

Scientists consider the Humboldt Penguins vulnerable to extinction due to natural climate variations, and overfishing of their favorite prey species as it is the Peruvian anchovy. As we know, fish is the main feed of these marvelous species.

Andean Cock-of-the-rock 🐦

The spectacular Andean Cock-of-the-rock is considered “The Peruvian National Bird”. It’s a species of passeriform bird of the Cotingidae family.

The males are beautiful deep orange-red, with orange eyes, yellow legs and beak, and black wings and tail. The female is a dark reddish brown.

Its habitat is in the Peruvian Amazon, regions like San Martin, Huanuco, Cusco, and, Madre de Dios.

Scarlet Macaw 🌿🦜

The majestic Scarlet Macaw 🦜was photographed at Tambopata, Madre de Dios region in Perú by our best birding guide in Puerto Maldonado, Alex Durand.

The White-bearded Manakin is a species of passerine bird in the family Pipridae belonging to the Manacus genre. It is found in the Peruvian Amazon forest.
