The hide is available both day and night all year round, all lit if required, with a variety of other fauna to keep you entertained.
Amber, my resident female marten who popped in tonight. Obviously with the weather conditions she was more than a tad on the moist side tbh. Rather unkept at present due to the winter coat still in place, but that will be replaced by a silkier look shortly. I just love this wee girl who has really bedded in gradually over this last year and she has become a lot more tolerant and trusting at the hide. She is a belter ❤❤❤

A full day out for £100pp over either the 13th or 14th of April.
This will consist of a 0530 start to look for beavers, otters and other river dwellers.
From there a visit to a glen via a few locations to look for Osprey, wildfowl and Brown Hare. The glen can offer Ring Ouzel, Stonechat, Whinchat, Willow Warbler, a variety of raptors plus other fauna.
If time allows, as it will be all done at an easy pace, a visit up a relatively easy hill to see mountain hare and other mountain dwellers.
From there, we'd go back to my hide for Red Squirrel, Woodpeckers, Nuthatch etc plus Pine Marten.
This is a full on day but ALL done at your pace.

Well done to Petra for getting the "twins" tonight. As far as I'm aware they've had a good day. They've taken advantage of the £50pp offer for our woodland hide. There are still a few dates for the hide in August, 12th, 18th, 25th and 31st. This coming month, August 2022, we are offering the hide at £50pp. This is a full day in the hide, exclusively yours, and you can come and go as you please. The hide is well established, with multiple species making an appearance, including red squirrel, pine marten, woodpecker, nuthatch, siskin, woodpeckers etc.
The hide is 10x10ft, a roomy affair that offers a relaxed visit for 1-4+ visitors.
This is a full 24hr hire, lighting available if required, heating if necessary, comfy seating.
A couple of good night's for my clients on Friday and Saturday. Both had multiple visits by a number of martens. Really chuffed for young Zoe who is marten daft, her and her mum rocked up to the hide around 0630 with a toy marten, pine marten t shirt on and stuck it out until the martens appeared, unfortunately it was a late show. On the plus side they had a couple of singles then a pair. They also had a young male sparrowhawk posing for a bit as well as the usual residents ❤️

I'm finding it exhilarating keeping up with the info from Beth who is at my hide. She's now got the adult male marten visiting. This after two visits from the mum and kits ❤️

A few from the hide last night. A previous client had mentioned witnessing male GSW getting a very close shave from a sparrowhawk, there is pretty damming evidence to support that as he is pretty much a regular. Great to see the nuthatch on a continual basis. BIG changes to the hide tomorrow, hopefully they will be a success
I can't thank the numerous people that help me out at my hide when I'm struggling to juggle tours. Thankfully Fiona Leslie stepped in and was rewarded with one of my resident female pine martens.
