Please never leave your pets unattended! No matter their size!!

Although most residents are familiar with the risks coyotes pose to our pets on this island, many visitors and newcomers are unaware of this danger. Sadly, many pets are taken or severely injured by the coyotes that inhabit the area. Below is a list of things you can do to help prevent your pet from getting attacked, although some may be inconvenient or take more time, we highly recommend these things.

🙌🙌🙌 Sheetrock is up!!! We are finally starting to see the end of a very long build process!! As soon as we get a schedule we can get a better idea when we will be able to start hosting & making those memories!!

April Construction Update

Insulation is getting installed!! We are hoping for a June or July completion 🤞🏼 Once we get to final punch list we will have a better idea!

March Update! Exterior has been painted 🙌 we did a 3rd party MEP (mechanical, engineering, plumbing) inspection & have a few more things that need to be addressed. Once fixed they will work on getting sheet rock up. We are SO thankful for our realtor as she has gone over & beyond for us! We are slowly getting to completion & are so happy knowing our families will have an amazing place to make memories!

We have siding! Metal roof going on soon! We are the middle one & we should be seeing it painted soon as well! Please send us some good vibes that we will be able to start renting out this summer! We can’t wait to be a part of some Port A memories! ☀️🌊🌴

We were hoping to have been able to open our beach house for Christmas Memories in 2022, unfortunately we are still dealing with an extremely slow build process. Until then, have a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from The Schock Family!

Well I was hoping to have better news for our December update! We were really hoping to be up & running in time for Spring Break. However, it’s looking like the earliest will be May & latest will be June. On a positive note that will give us time to go down there & stay & not have to rush getting our beach house ready for your family memories! We can take our time, create our own memories & then start welcoming families throughout the summer!

October Update

HVAC is complete and all windows and doors have been installed. Plumbing and electrical has been started & hopefully complete soon!

I will admit this has been the most discouraging project we have ever done! We do know that it will be worth the wait & all the memories made will allow us to forget the negative aspects of this! Positive always outweighs the negative & we can’t wait to host your family! Once we get a timeline we will have a better timeframe on when we can officially welcome guests!!

Windows and doors are in! Last week they were working on exterior waterproofing! Hoping this week they will be ready for the exterior waterproofing inspection. It’s been an extremely slow process & nothing I envisioned building to be like. Unfortunately, since it’s not a custom home it’s out of my hands and we just wait! I do know that the wait will be well worth it in the end! Sunshine ☀️
