The business was started around thirteen years ago and was prompted by the lack of quality period door furniture on the market to help with high end restoration projects. The Period Ironmongers aim was to fill this void and create our own internet based shop selling the best that was available, and here it is. Since then, with over a decade of experience under our belts we have been involved in nu

merous prestigious projects which include the Glasgow Riverside Museum, various listed properties, international retail outlets, some top hotels and work with the National Trust. Our customer base includes Architectural practices, interior designers, building contractors as well as the general public. I am always struck by the number of wives who are tasked with the project management of new builds and restoration projects and am happy to work closely with them. Whatever architectural era your property dates from, having the right door furniture will speak volumes. We are proud to supply a range of door furniture made from traditional materials in time honoured ways and where possible produced in the UK. Our products are suitable for the restoration of period and listed properties as well as new buildings and barn conversions.
