IntelligentMommy.com is a free community for mothers, fathers and families that helps them buy and sell gently used baby, toddler and kids items through our unique marketplace. Founded in 2010 when husband and wife Derek and Jennifer Haake found out they were having triplets, the pair soon realized that there were ways to find used baby and toddler items in their community, but there was no single
, easy place for them to find what they needed for their kids. They then created Intelligent Mommy as a marketplace for parents to easily network, exchange and find the gently used kids items they were looking for and to easily complete the transaction in a safe, secure manner - which is accomplished with Intelligent Mommy. Intelligent Mommy is a network for parents to easily find, buy and sell baby, toddler and kids items within their local communities, but also anywhere within the Intelligent Mommy community. The community offers a structured meet up, or mail exchange system that lets users easily delivery and purchase the items they need. Instead of focusing on individual items, the company also wants users to list and buy boxes of clothes and toys from each other. This helps families rid their homes of clutter, but also becomes almost a present for the receiving family. The community is not aimed at saving / getting a lot of money for used items, but is a way to pass along savings to other families that - for example, might be expecting triplets - in your neighborhood, or anywhere in the Intelligent Mommy network.
