Kim Grutzmacher started the agency as a sole trader, and has many years of experience in different sectors of care. From 1994 to date, Tender Loving Carers Domiciliary Ltd is still a family business which has grown and developed considerably. The day to day running of the company is run by
her eldest daughter Brigitte, the Managing Director, who also holds the position of Vice Chair of the KCCA (Kent Community Care Association). We are an Independent Social Care Provider who contract with, and are recognised as a ‘preferred provider’ for Kent County Council Social Services (local authority). We also, deliver care to the private sector, Users of Service who hold Direct Payment funding or having funding and use the ‘Kent Card’ as a means of payment. We are extremely proud to constantly thrive in meeting quality standards, having been recognised as an ‘Excellent’ provider by the ‘Care Quality Commission’, achieving and sustaining the ‘Investors in People’ award and holding membership to both the ‘KCCA and the UKHCA’. The training we provide is appropriate for experienced staff as well as those who are new to the care industry. We have a full time training coordinator who is on hand to offer one to one support for anyone who lacks confidence or who would just like some clarification.
