每年冬天，在东北的黑龙江、吉林、辽宁等地，渔民们破开冰面进行捕鱼。其中，吉林省的查干湖冬捕尤为著名，近年来最大单网出鱼量可达十五万公斤以上。
而在西部的新疆，除了森林和牧场，我们也有发展很不错的渔业。上周，在巴音郭楞蒙古自治州博湖县，第十七届冰雪节暨博斯腾湖冬捕活动隆重开幕，来自各地的游客齐聚博斯腾湖广袤的冰面上，共同见证冬捕盛况。现场有上百位非物质文化遗产传承人捧起哈达，唱起悠扬的蒙古长调，跳起热情的传统舞蹈。
Last week, the 17th Ice and Snow Festival and the Bosten Lake Winter Fishing event grandly commenced at Dahekou scenic area in Bohu County, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang. Over a hundred inheritors of intangible cultural heritages were holding hada, singing melodious Mongolian long songs and performing traditional dance.

In the past 1980s, the passenger trains entering and exiting Xinjiang was only 45 km/h, and the journey from Urumqi to Lanzhou took 2 days and 2 nights.🐌
In 2014, the Lanzhou-Xinjiang High-speed Railway made its debut, making it a reality to travel to Xinjiang by high-speed train. The trains running from Urumqi to Lanzhou and Xining operate at a speed of 200 km/h, with travel times of 11 h 54 min and 10 h 37 min, respectively.⚡️⚡️

通车后，穿越阻隔新疆南北的天山峻岭仅需要20多分钟。
乌鲁木齐市到南疆库尔勒市的驾车时长，将从原来的7小时左右缩短到3个多小时。
🥳🥳🥳The Tianshan Shengli Tunnel, the world's longest expressway tunnel, completed tunneling Monday morning, paving the way for the opening of a new shortcut linking southern and northern parts of China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
The 22.13-kilometer tunnel, "Shengli," which means "victory" in Chinese, will reduce the time it takes to drive across the middle section of the Tianshan Mountains from several hours to about 20 minutes once operational.
It is a key project of the Urumqi-Yuli Expressway, which runs from the regional capital of Urumqi in northern Xinjiang to Yuli County in southern Xinjiang. The expressway is expected to be fully completed and open to traffic in 2025. The driving time between the two locations will be reduced from about seven hours to just over three hours.

📜The Kuqa Grottoes are one of the important sites of ancient Chinese Buddhist art, located in Kuqa (Kuche) County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Kucha was an important country in ancient Western Regions and a key node on the Silk Road. The excavation of the Kuqa Grottoes began around the 3rd century AD and continued until around the 14th century.
🐫The Kuqa Grottoes include several grotto groups, such as the Kizil Thousand Buddha Caves, Senmusaimu Caves, and the Mazabeh Caves, among which the most famous is the Kizil Caves. These grottoes preserve a large number of murals and sculptures, representing the unique Buddhist art style of the Kuqa region, integrating artistic elements from India, Central Asia, and the Central Plains, reflecting the richness and diversity of cultural exchanges along the Silk Road.
🐫龟兹石窟是中国古代佛教艺术的重要遗址之一，位于新疆阿克苏地区的库车县（古称龟兹）。龟兹是古代西域的一个重要国家，也是丝绸之路上的一个关键节点。龟兹石窟的开凿时间大约从公元3世纪开始，一直延续到14世纪左右。

🤝Last week, a delegation from Pakistan visited Urumqi City and Kashi Prefecture, Xinjiang. At the Planning Exhibition Hall of Urumqi, they experienced an immersive journey through the prosperity of the ancient Silk Road. They also visited the Id Kah Mosque in Kashi City and the village known for pottery-making in Yengisar County.

🎉🎉🎉Breaking News--China extends visa-free transit stays to 240 hours & 60 entry points ❗️❗️❗️
The National Immigration Administration announced today that it will fully relax and optimize the visa-free transit policy, which is effective immediately. The stay duration for foreign nationals eligible for visa-free transit has been extended from the previous 72 hours and 144 hours to 240 hours (10 days).
Meanwhile, with 21 newly added ports in Shanxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui (Huangshan), Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong, Hunan (Zhangjiajie), Guangxi, Hainan, Sichuan (Chengdu) and Guizhou (Guiyang), the number of opened ports has increased from the original 39 to 60.
Under the updated policy, eligible citizens from 54 countries, including Russia, Brazil, Britain, the United States and Canada, can enter China visa-free when transiting to a third country or region.
