This is a fun show ! Thanks for Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is a wonderful and universal holiday, and puppetry is a magical art form,
this show will be a great addition to your large holiday get togethers. We start with a humorous retelling of thanksgiving history, of how the pilgrims got along with the native americans as told by our dragons, interwoven with holiday safety tips from a NYC firefighter, he always gets his own round of applause! And as usual young Benjamin Small loses his dog and hopefully gets him back with the help of the audience, We also have some laughs at the expense of a grouch, the kind that everyone knows who cant stand holidays, This sounds like fun. All to the toe tapping sing along songs of guitarist “ Rockimedes Crowbar.” plus inspiritational themes which leave us all feeling loving, and giving, and thankful. Thank You

Winter in Puppetland
Where do puppets go in the winter? Why, Puppetland of course. This dreamlike show is a story of there and back again for a young girl named Mary Beth, and her adventures on her first winter visit to the land of the puppets. With the help of the audience, young Ben Small introduces Mary Beth to a wonderful cast of characters; a Jack in the box, a fairy princess, dragons, a singing snowman, and eventually a Grandfather Clock, who tells us how to help Mary Beth get home safely. Benjamin Small leads the audience through the Rockin’ Finale, and all ends well. This show is presentable any time of year. Beautiful original songs, and a feel good story, along with hand rod and string puppets, will make you glad you spent some time in Puppetland. .

Fire Safety - Fact Fiction and Fun
I am a New York City Firefighter of 23 years now retired after fighting fires in all 5 boroughs of the Big Apple. I also served in the
NYC Fire Safety Education Unit, where I lectured often on the subject of Fire Safety. I am a 9/11 rescue worker. As director of Dreamlike Puppet Company
I was determined to take this important information, and put it into a fun and savvy production. This is serious stuff and we make it really fun without being silly. There are many very intelligent Adult people who do not understand the simple concepts that children will come away with after seeing this show. A lesson learned for LIFE. String rod and hand puppets , beautiful staging and sets, and a pleasant treatment of a sensitive issue. I am uniquely qualified to to present this subject, and children learn best when they are having FUN.

I have been a puppeteer since I was 5 years old in 1959, and I wish someone had enlightened me this way when I was a very young person with a hands on, show and tell, step by step demonstration like this. We show how different puppet styles work, the tricks and techniques. No magician would do that. We try to inspire young minds to pick up their puppets and bring them to life! Even adults in the room will be fascinated by the funny skits using these many puppets of different kinds; finger puppets, sock, bag and stick puppets, hand, shadow, rod, and mouth puppets, mask, object, and string puppets, and more including examples from around the world. The Grand Finale is a bubbly sing along song, and everyone especially the very young will have a COOL TIME !

Ben and the Beanstalk
Jack can’t make it to the puppet show, and Dexter D. Dragon introduces his last minute replacement, none other than Dreamlike Puppet Company’s much loved, young Benjamin Small, who comes up with some creative solutions to his family’s problems and
solves a robbery at the king’s castle. Life is hard on the onion farm, but through the well known swap of a cow for a handful of beans, this magical tale unfolds. Wit and song and a wonderful finish present a refreshing, and engrossing theater experience. Meet the King, his Jester, Benjamin’s Mom and Dad, a singing harp, a golden goose, a very amusing cow, and a few other interesting characters. Oh yes.....The Giant. don’t tell the audience, but, he doesn’t expire in this dreamlike ending. .
