● Your vehicle must have good ground clearance. Low range and differential locks are not essential
● The tyres on your vehicle cannot be low profile road tyres and should be high profile floating tyres with off road capabilities
● Your spare wheel must be full-size and fitted on a suitable rim (no space savers / Marie biscuits)
● You do not need any previous sand, rock or off-road driving experience
● Bhejane provides your tent, cutlery and crockery and sets up and takes down the camps. Three meals a day, tea, coffee and homemade rusks included.

Discover the Eastern Cape's natural wonders on our Addo and Baviaanskloof tour in October....
Our journey through the Eastern Cape links two of the province’s most stunning destinations, the Addo Elephant National Park and the Baviaanskloof World Heritage Site, for an unforgettable adventure.
Along this route you’ll not only witness amazing wildlife and unspoiled landscapes, but also drive stunning mountain passes, discover the hidden natural wonders and explore historical countryside villages.

You start this Bhejane 4x4 Adventure with the sounds of the ocean waves being heard from the first campsite near Kenton-on-Sea. From here the tour explores the whole region of the Addo park, including the lesser-visited southern and northern sections. Next we venture west, traversing parts of the Karoo to reach the western
entrance to the Baviaanskloof. Our journey then leads us eastward, through river crossings and over mountain passes, until we’ve traveled the entire length of the Baviaanskloof.
From Patensie we follow the flow of the Gamtoos River until we finally reach the ocean once more.

Are you ready to venture into the realm of elephants,
traverse the valley of baboons and take on epic gravel roads?
