Athens Batting Cages is a brand new facility conveniently located on the Atlanta Highway right next to Strickland’s Restaurant in Athens.

These cages were started by two Dads, Jeff McElheney and Rob Woolery, that wanted to have a place for their kids to practice and sharpen their baseball and softball skills in a high-quality, safe, and clean environment. We are a work in progress, but as of right now we have two full-sized and fully operational batting cages on the premises. We also have an Iron Mike pitching machine as you would f

ind in most professional ball clubs, JUGS Pitching Machines, Batting T’s, and Soft Toss Machines. We provide top notch, one-on-one personal instruction in a family-friendly environment. We offer cage rental and private instruction rates that are broken down into ½ Hour and Full Hour blocks for individuals and teams as well as providing a monthly membership option for cage rental. Athens Batting Cages is a great place for individuals, groups, and teams to meet and hone their skills before the season begins, or to keep their skills sharp during the season with regular visits, especially on those rainy days when you can’t get outside and onto the field. Cage Rental Rates (Teams or Individuals): $20 for 1/2 Hour for One Cage $30 for 1 Hour for One Cage $40 for 1/2 Hour for Both Cages $50 for 1 Hour for Both Cages *We Offer Live Pitching for $20 per 1/2 Hour in Addition to Cage Rental. Available by Appointment Only. Rates for Private Instruction: $40 for 1/2 an Hour $50 for 3/4 an Hour $70 for 1 Full Hour These Prices Include Cage Rental and are for ONE Child Only. Please Add $10 for Each Additional Child. Monthly Membership: $85 per Month for One Family Member $35 for Each Additional Family Member Membership Includes One 30 Minute Session Per Day. Cage Rental Only. Does NOT Include Private Lessons. Subject to Cage Availability.
