Still harsh frost here at Rockvale Gardens but good to be working with the bones of the garden...pruning, thinning out trees and bushes. To have garden fullness in spring work needs to be done now.

Our Story

Rockvale Retreat is your home away from home. Here is your chance to have a holiday in the New Zealand countryside and enjoy your accommodation with the "true Kiwi" experience. Whilst staying here you will be free to do your own thing, enjoying the many attractions and activities that are available in North Otago. The Home-stay unit, as well as the family home, is set in the magnificent 2 acre of gardens, which are both secluded and peacfull. The beautiful gardens have been developed by proprietors Bob and Linda Wilson and our guests are invited to enjoy the gardens at their leisure. A BBQ area and outside Spa are also available for our guests use.
