Let me tell you a story about my little boat and why you might want to book a ride. The little boat is there to help people reach the Island of Full Potential. Groups of up to 12 people can join the boat and they do so for many different reasons and with many different challenges. Some are given the fare by their employers because they’re keen for them to get there quickly and bring back their fin
dings into the workplace. Others may have tried to get there alone, perhaps swimming, or paddling on a manmade raft, but found the journey too difficult and returned to shore to save up and buy a ticket. Still there are others who don’t join the boat straight away, because they have too much baggage, but instead need some help sorting through it all before they can embark on their journey. They all trust that the little boat will get them there. The boat has all the equipment it needs to navigate the perilous route – the deep-sea predators that may try to hold you back, the swell of the water that may try to tip you overboard and changing winds which may try to blow you off course. I’m Gail, the skipper of the little boat. I keep it ship-shape and fit for travel. I have navigated these waters many times, in many different boats and have taken people to many different ports. There is plenty of space on board and the little boat can cater for every need. There are handrails and sea sickness pills for when the going gets a little rough and as the waters calm and you finally return to normality, the well stocked kitchen can offer you some food for thought. Interesting exercises and me as your tour guide, keep you entertained, engaged and informed as you travel on your voyage of discovery. People are different when they leave, somehow transformed. They disembark with a clear sense of purpose, a solid stride, and a renewed determination and confidence in how they will get there. No-one can really explain what goes on during the journey, though many have tried. I once attempted to unpick the code, to find the magic ingredients, by asking those who had transformed along the way. But they could only smile sagely and tell me their focus was so clear on where they were going, that they could no longer remember how they had arrived there. So that’s where the little boat can take you. Let me know when you are ready to leave.
