I came to understand that nothing can really prepare you for motherhood except from a first hand experience.

Motherhood brings a lot of joy and great satisfaction but, it also brings responsibilities and challenges that come along with it. When I become a mom I realized that in order to be a cherished and happy mom I needed sleep. Oddly enough, sleeping was the hardest thing for me to do in the few first months. I realized that being sleep deprived has a great negative impact on various aspects of life;

parenthood, relationships, work, and much more. But most importantly, it has the biggest impact on the well being of our most precious thing – our family. Recognizing sleep deprivation in so many families made me want to help them. I become a student with the Family Sleep Institute where I studied the science of sleep and was educated in all of the different sleep methods available. I have completed a wide gamut of training and graduated with certification in sleep consultation. Over the years, I came across parents that didn’t get a full nights rest for a couple of years. Those mom and dads shared with me their struggle of completing day to day tasks, difficulty functioning, staying focused during work hours, and difficulties in maintaining a happy family. I had the privilege to help them reach their goal of getting the sleep that their children and themselves desperately needed. I find so much pleasure and satisfaction from helping families restore their sleep cycles and revive the joy and structure in their lives.
