Bookagri.com offers authentic rural agritourism experiences in Jordan that seek to empower local villages and farmers.

Activities and experiences include farm visits and tours. A new agritourism is being introduced to the governorates of As-Salt, Jerash and Ajloun in Jordan, which seeks to empower local villages and farmers. Visitors and tourists can tour local farms, meet the farmers and take part in activities to learn about their culturally rich yet simple lifestyle. Overnight stays in Jerash are also available

. Visitors can participate in a number of farm-based activities, such as planting and harvesting crops, learning how traditional ingredients are produced, trying local recipes, milking goats and cows, interacting with different farm animals, learning crafts, and tasting the food products and local dishes. Each destination has different and unique activities that allow visitors and tourists to experience the authentic Jordanian farmer's life. This tourism concept is developed and implemented by Al-Marj, a nonprofit training and development organization established in 2015 aimed at training local guides and farmers to better present their local baskets of offerings and welcoming visitors and tourists from all over the world. Our main supporters are: USAID BEST, MEDA JVL and Oxfam.

تم إدخال نوع جديد من السياحة إلى محافظات السلط وجرش وعجلون في الأردن و هي السياحة الزراعية، والتي تسعى إلى تمكين القرى والمزارعين المحليين. يمكن للزوار والسياح التجول في المزارع المحلية ، ومقابلة المزارعين والمشاركة في الأنشطة للتعرف على أسلوب حياتهم الثري ثقافيًا و البسيط في نفس الوقت. تتوفر أيضًا الإقامة لليلة في جرش. يمكن للزوار المشاركة في عدد من الأنشطة القائمة على الزراعة ، مثل زراعة المحاصيل وحصادها ، وتعلم كيفية إنتاج المكونات التقليدية ، وتجربة الوصفات المحلية ، وحلب الماعز والأبقار ، والتفاعل مع حيوانات المزرعة المختلفة ، وتعلم الحرف ، وتذوق المنتجات الغذائية و أطباق محلية. لكل وجهة أنشطة مختلفة وفريدة من نوعها تسمح للزوار والسياح بتجربة حياة المزارع الأردنية الأصيلة

تم تطوير وتنفيذ هذا المفهوم السياحي من قبل مؤسسة المرج ، وهي مؤسسة تدريب وتطوير غير ربحية تأسست في عام 2015 بهدف تدريب المرشدين المحليين والمزارعين لتقديم سلالهم المحلية بشكل أفضل والترحيب بالزوار والسياح من جميع أنحاء العالم. Oxfam MEDA JVL داعمونا الرئيسيون هم الوكالة الأمريكية للتنمية الدولية
