Last day of the hunt and literally the last hour of light, and we came across this huge Kudu bull. Did not take us long to get in a position for the shot. After the perfect shot, the bull went 40 yards and was down..
What a fantastic safari with a great guy. This was a safari I will not soon forget. A perfect example of a person arriving as a client and becoming a friend..

What a way to end a hell of a day in the KwaZulu-Natal Mountains. We spotted three nice bulls this afternoon, and they made their way into some thick indigenous bush. After a while, we caught a glimpse of this bull, and our hunter made a perfect shot.. A magnificent old beast of the mountains, what more could you ask for in an eland. Strange thing is he only had one ear, obviously could not hear us coming..

After not sitting for very long in the blind a tiny monster appeared. A few tense moments and our client from Hawaii made a perfect shot with the 22 Hornet.
They dont get much bigger than this stretching the tape over the magic 2" mark..

After looking at what seemed like over a hundred Dik Dik this male caught our fancy.. A quick and short stalk and the 17 HMR turned his lights out. This is number 5 of the Tiny 10 quest for our hunter.

After a long travel day, we set out looking for Klipspringer in the rocky and arid surroundings. We spotted this ram from what seemed like a few miles away, and after a long and steady stalk, we got with in 200yards and our hunter from Hawaii made a good shot.. This is number 4 of the Tiny 10 for our hunter.

What a day we have had in the sand forests of KwaZulu-Natal. With conditions very difficult due to the thickness of the forests, we set out with the task of finding a needle in a hey stack. All the stars lined up, and we found a large male suni feeding in some thick cover. The hardest part was to show our hunter exactly where he was, and then he gave himself away with the flicking of his tail. Todd zoned in and made a pin perfect shot to secure his Number 9 of the Tiny 10..
Happiness is a SCI gold medal Suni in the salt..
