On 29th April MP UT. Ladakh Mr. Jamyang Tsering Namgyal .in flagged of 111 k category from The Grand Dragon Ladakh.

It was mandatory for runners to carry their own water sippers, which were refilled with filtered water provided by our sustainability partners Ladakh Ecological Development Group Leh - Ledeg , reducing wastage of potentially 6,000+ single use plastic bottles. Locals of Sakti village were amazingly helpful in wow-maning the aid stations with filtered water and support on the way. Local administration of Ladakh, like always, were supportive in every sense possible. Friends from Ladakh and all over India were the core crew members, the backbone of La Ultra. Thanks a million miles everyone.

Known for its orchards, scenic vistas, Bactrian camels and monasteries; Nubra Valley is the northernmost part of UT Ladakh Situated about 150 km from Leh, Nubra Valley is known as the Orchard of Ladakh and was originally called Ldumra which meant the valley of flowers.

Surrounded by snowcapped Himalayan ranges, Nubra valley lies sandwiched between Tibet and Kashmir. The view of the valley is picturesque and breathtaking.
