Great day at the Fair. My friends (Stephanie and Sue) from Post, Oregon - the geographical center of our state - made their annual visit and purchased books for their store. Visit their historic community the next time you are in North-Central Oregon.

Six days down and five to go! Today is 'Throwback Day.' Fair prices are reduced to what they were when it opened 150 years ago. Food prices will not be reduced, but admission is significantly lower. See you at the fair.

Today is the mid-point of the Fair. The Authors Table was moved to a new location and many people are not able to find us. We are on the East end of the Jackman-Long Building.

Will be taking Roads Less Traveled and the new Ghost Town book on tour beginning the end of July, starting with the Sweet Home Festival July 30, 31, August 1. Homer Davenport Days begin the next Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Aug 7-8-9)

Steve Arndt will be making a multi-media presentation at the Woodburn Senior Estates Thursday morning. His powerpoint will include information and photos regarding 27 of Oregon's ghost towns.

Ghost Towns in Oregon A-Z Volume 1 is now at the printers. We await a proof copy before ordering quantities and should have the new books ready to release in a couple weeks.

The Tulips are in full bloom and the moderate temperatures keep the petals intact and beautifully colored. Will be there every weekend through the May 3 and many other days during the week. Hope to see you there.

Traveling to Oregon City tonight to make a multi-media presentation on the Roads Less Traveled. Tomorrow, from 8-4, will be selling books at the Senior Estates Clubhouse in Woodburn.

Hard to believe that the State Fair is half-over. Hot temps and then possible rain over the week-end. Isn't Oregon a weather challenged state!!!
