I promise, I’ve been in meetings all day with different suppliers in the industry focusing on romance travel & destination weddings. They have been very scheduled ‘speed dating’ sessions where we change suppliers every 14 minutes.

We had 1.5 hours between meetings and cocktail party. I was super excited to be able to use my swim out pool to relax!

I’m out of office on limited cell service today until 7p. But I’ll check and reply to messages as alxohol and cellular allows.

Heading to check out this excursion I have been sending clients on to see how amazing it really is. Visiting 2 islands: Isla Contoy which only allows 200 visitors a day and the infamously fun Isla Mujeres. With a little private lunch cooked on the island, drinks and some sun, I’m expecting some sigh-worthy memories!

I’m such a proud mom! Emma’s never likes the attention, but loved the prep part of prom. She doesn’t ask for much and she’s easy to please. She’s appreciative for what she has and she’s such a great kid/young adult! She’s polite, courteous and a hard worker. I’m so excited she’s had fun so far!

Today is the day! Gretchen Bratton and I are going to the NEW Tulum Airport - TQO. Maybe 16 people on the entire plane from DFW to TQO!! I booked this trip solely to experience what my travelers will so I can give them the best advice. So excited to try this new airport for my travelers.

And!! I might be painting my toes!

When you think about a picture perfect Caribbean island, Isla Contoy is what would come to mind.

A small island in the north east of Mexico, Yucatán Peninsula. It is around 45 minute boat ride from Isla Mujeres. It is a national park island where no one lives and there are no services or freshwater.

Because of that, no mammals live on the island, but it is home to 150 bird species, four turtle species, whale and nurse, sharks, staying in manta rays, iguanas and hermit crabs among others.

The best part is they allow 200 people maximum per day so it’s still a spoiled paradise.
