The Nesting Bower based in the Blue Mountains, is run by Anna Baird, a Horticulturalist, Educator & Permaculture Designer. The business specialises in edible food gardens, worm farms and educational workshops. Anna works with individuals, community groups, students and families offering a range of services from designing your edible garden, to growing your own organic herbs, fruit and vegetables &

setting up productive worm farms for turning food scraps into valuable fertiliser for your plants. Anna also runs educational workshops which include setting up worm farms, growing plants from seed, testing soil pH, mulches & fertilisers &edible garden basics & bush tucker gardens. The Nesting Bower has over 15 years experience in Horticulture, Conservation & Land Management & Permaculture. Anna trained at the Botanic Gardens & Domain Trust and has worked for the National Parks & Wildlife Service. She has also designed many edible gardens for clients over the years, and set up lots of productive worm farms. Anna recently taught horticulture at TAFE in Western Sydney in both the Environmental & Outreach teams, and is currently designing an outdoor classroom for a local high school.
