Life on the Mediterranean is all about living along this wonderful stretch of sea, called the Mediterranean. I’m fortunate, I know. Just the words, Mediterranean Sea, conjure up a feeling of euphoria. Who doesn’t love the Mediterranean?
While the South of France is now home, I came from humble beginnings in Wisconsin in the US. I was fortunate to study in Italy for a year when I was 20 years old and that experience left an unimaginable mark on my life. A yearning to return. A desire to live life like it was 20 years behind the US.
To return to this area was my life’s goal, and through hard work I was able to achieve it. The countries around the Mediterranean inspire me - their cultures, history, cuisines, landscapes and languages. It’s all magical to me.
I hope you, too, will be inspired to visit these regions, tour their cities, swim in their waters, sample local fare, buy some unique products, and take a bit of the Mediterranean home with you.
