I originally purchased several hand turned wooden pens that others made and found that I really enjoyed writing with them. Each pen was unique and I found the beauty of the wood to be something that I really appreciated. The individual that I purchased the pens from made only ball point pens. In my work I used a mechanical lead pencil even more than I used a pen so I began looking for a hand turne
d mechanical pencil. In my search I found that not only were the finished pencils available but the components were also available for me to make my own pencil. What started as one pencil has led to the production of quite a number of assorted pens and pencils over the last several years. David and I strive to make each pen "Memorable". the materials that we use come not only from the continental United States, Canada, and Mexico but from all over the world, Australia, Hawaii, Southeast Asia, Turkey, Israel, Africa, and Central and South America. We try to combine these materials with pen components that enhance the natural beauty of each material so that each pen is "One of a Kind". Our pens also create "Memorable" gifts. It would be impossible to relate the number of times that clients have returned bearing the message of how special our pens were regarded by those who received them as gifts. So whether you are acquiring a pen for yourself or another person, we try to make the experience truly "Memorable."
