r below and beyond to Cornwall's legendary St Michael's Mount. Living
Famously described by Dylan Thomas as 'the loveliest village in England', The Cuttlefish is the perfect spot to soak it all in. Inside, this vintage inspired period property has been styled to an exceptional standard. With dark wooden floors throughout, heritage radiators and light spacious rooms, each window offers a stunning coastal aspect. The sitting room is a sophisticated mix of unique antique finds sat alongside the latest in entertainment technology including Smart TV, Blu-Ray player and Bluetooth MP3 Dock. The epitome of warmth and comfort, there is also a crackling wood-burner to warm your toes. Eating
As the heart of the house, the kitchen also has a wood-burner positioned snugly between dual aspect windows. If you're lucky you might spot a dolphin swimming past, at the very least a seal relaxing on the island. The kitchen alone is an experience in high end luxury. With a large traditional farmhouse table and range cooker it's truly in keeping with its coastal location. Adorned with Le Creuset cookware, Dualit appliances and a retro Gorenje fridge you could be forgiven for thinking you'd stepped into The Great British Bake Off! If you don't feel like cooking on holiday or fancy a special treat, then why not consider booking Benedict Quinn, a private chef who can prepare a meal in advance or cater for a larger dinner party. Sleeping
The Cuttlefish has two fabulous boutique bedrooms. The master bedroom is the epitome of boutique living. With its king-size bed, Paris pendant lamps and traditional armoire, this French inspired room is truly exquisite. The space is flooded with light through the large sash windows. Offering sea and garden views, it is a sumptuous haven of peace and tranquility. Equal in comfort and luxury, the light and airy twin bedroom has a quirky style all of its own. With original vintage brass beds, these large singles can be pushed together to make a super king-size bed. With bespoke handmade mattresses and luxurious touch of down and cotton linen, you'll never want to get out of bed! Bathing
The first floor bathroom is truly the icing on the cake. It has all the charm of a traditional Victorian bathroom yet offers top of the range 21st century luxury. Not only does it have a huge walk in drench head shower, it also holds a glorious roll top bath positioned perfectly under the windows allowing you to take in the views whilst bathing. Garden
Across the footpath at the front of the house lies The Cuttlefish's private gated garden; a lush exotic paradise spread across three levels. The views from the garden are unrivalled and make this property completely unique. At Christmas take advantage of the cast iron fire pit and enjoy the famous Mousehole Lights. In the summer months try an al fresco dining experience making full use of the BBQ or simply get lost in a book gazing out to sea whilst sat in the swing under the apple tree. Parking
Although The Cuttlefish doesn't have its own allocated parking space, you can usually do a 'bag drop' at the bottom of Cherry Garden Street and then it's a short stroll up the hill to Treen Villas at the top where The Cuttlefish is positioned. Parking is available in either of the quayside car parks just a few minutes walk away. Please do budget in car parking charges which is £3 per day or a weekly pass which works out slightly less.
