Early morning 4.30am game drive did not disappoint. Lion, wild dogs, hyena, leopard and elephant 🥰.
The leopard was smelling the dogs and hyena on out car for ages.

It is with great joy that I share this upcoming adventure with you all. As you all know the Yoga and Dolphin therapy trips were ongoing and well supported until Covid-19 came and isolated us. Well the time feels perfect again to once more begin these epic adventures into Mozambique, the only nearby country where we are legally allowed to snorkel with the wild and friendly dolphins of the Indian Ocean. Naturally there are stringent rules and guidelines for humans to adhere to, for the safety and health of the incredible cetaceans we are so privileged to share water time with.
Anyone ever interacted with dolphins before, we would love to hear your experiences. Please remember these are wild dolphins, we do NOT support interaction in any way with dolphins in captivity, not here in South Africa nor anywhere in the world !

These two hippus waddled out of the river early one evening and look who is hitching a ride ? Would so loved to have watched longer but camp was owing and we had to go. We witnessed about 20 mins of the turtle sunning itself, oblivious or unconcerned?

5 days of adventure, beach walking, swimming, exploring both your inner nature as well as Mother Nature as we make our way from Kosi mouth down to Mabibi, overnighting in EPIC places to finish by taking a boat from Mabibi on an Ocean Safari, maybe spotting dolphins for a little socialising with these cetaceans, onwards by boat to be dropped in Sodwana to drive homewards- relaxed, renewed and revitalised !
Average around 10 km per day

Buffalo soldiers, one of the most overlooked of the Big 5. They live in huge herds, in a recent game count I was fortunate enough to attend in Zimbabwe, we stopped counting at 350!! They are considered the most dangerous out of the Big 5, can be grumpy and unpredictable, charging without reason or warning.
Their horns add to an already imposing animal and can be used to show age and gender. See the video in our stories section at a waterhole on our most recent Safari.

August 8th, New moon in Leo, the height of the Lions gate Portal, we woke to this at first light. So very special, not a car or human anywhere....Kruger Park turned it on for us today. The sunset evening drive had us share the road with another rather disgruntled male, having lost his Lady to his brother. They were sharing time just off the road in the honeymoon suite while our lonely one grumbled for us all to share his sorrows. What a day in the Bush in Africa!

Just enjoyed a few days at Bhanga Nek Beach camp to experience a turtle hatching safari. Been on my bucket list for many years,ever since I started swimming with the dolphins and free fly swimming with the turtles I have wanted to be there for the beginning of their their journey. Epic moments of humbling proportions, thanks from my heart 💞 I have so much more knowledge now and really felt your passion for not just these amazing creatures but for the Natural world in its entirety. In light of the above article SOUTHERN AFRICA YOGA SAFARIS will no longer take inbound guests to Botswana! Elephants and human 🐘worked fairly well in living together however now with hunting being reintroduced I can only imagine the pain, suffering, fear and understandable hatred elephants will once again have to endure. This could lead to very unpleasant incidents 💔

I was lucky enough to have a brief glimpse of a dugong while on a boat trip out to the Bazarutto islands, they are very shy and rarely seen on the surface. Read the repost below... (with .for.insta)..
Like it’s distal relative, the elephant, the Dugong is strictly a herbivore that feasts exclusively on underwater sea grasses — by rooting them with their bristled, sensitive snouts and chomping with their lips... much like their terrestrial relative — the elephant.

In search of the mysteries surrounding the disappearance of Great White Sharks, the Apex Survival series follows a migratory route of a Great White up the Mozambique Channel. 🐘While on a self game drive we spotted this chameleon crossing the road so we stopped to protect it from being driven over. 🚙 In my yoga classes I often say " transition into.......like a chameleon" .🦎 However this one has quite an unusual rhythmic tap dance/walk going on.💃
