35 Chaka's Rock Chalets ⛱😍💖

Situated in a Resort Estate with Swimming Pools, Tennis Court, Squash Court, Putt Putt, Play Park, Trampoline etc. Plenty to keep everyone busy when not at the nearby family friendly beaches and tidal pools of Chaka's Rock and Thompson's Bay.

The area offers a wide variety of activities, as well as a large selection of fantastic shops and restaurants, some within walking distance, others a short drive to Salt Rock and nearby Ballito.

Big shout out to the Salt Rock Neighbourhood Watch, ward councillor Privi Makhan, the CPF, The Rise Up Movement and all our amazing local Security companies involved, for taking care of our beaches over this festive season.
A big shout out also to the local estates, companies and individuals who financially support this initiative and make it possible.

This wonderful Beach Security initiative is now underway, where you will see a strong presence of security at the entrances to the main beaches, with other security guys on the beach patrolling.
This is a challenging time of year with so many visitors and this initiative tries to control and prevent unacceptable behaviour, closely monitoring visitors and beach goers to ensure safety and security for all, helping to keep our beaches clean and pristine, and maintaining the peaceful and family-friendly environment of beautiful Salt Rock.

With their natural habitat fast becoming diminished by development in the region, the Vervet monkey population is under threat and we have to find a way to coexist with tolerance and compassion.

Apart from their incredible rescue work, Monkey Helpline strives to educate the public by breaking down myths about monkeys in our communities, changing antagonism and fear into tolerance and appreciation for these vulnerable and often misunderstood creatures 🐒
