This is what led to me making sure that every trip - be it by road, rail or air - we are prepared! I’ve been making travel packs for my girls since the beginning of (their) time. It quickly turned into something I really enjoyed about the lead up to a getaway. Sourcing little things that wouldn't break the bank but would keep them busy, including things they’ve “ooh’d and aah’d” over in the shops but I refused to get them, finding things to allow me to either have a short nap/read 3 pages on my kindle/consume a glass (plastic airline cup) of wine etc.

Trips away with friends generally results in me getting all the kids little activities or special treats, and compliments from friends on how I always managed to find such ‘clever things’, or that they wish they had the time or desire to do the same, got me offering to help them out if they ever needed it. Most Mama’s I know work. The time they have with their families is stretched pretty thin. Enter: ME!

A Travel Tamer Tote isn't just a random selection of cheap plastic toys in a j***y bag. I try my best to pack each bag according to who it’s for. The Childs age, gender, likes and dislikes, as well as your budget, are all taken into consideration when I make up a bag. I’ll ask you a range of questions which you may find annoying but you’ll thank me for later, I promise! There may be some cheap j***y toys in there, but there will also be a puzzle, an activity or colouring in book, a notebook and stationery, and anything else YOU want.
