per night.

R300 LINEN AND CLEANING FEE
R500 breakage fee.

TV ~ ONLY Open view channels. We do have a dish you can bring your own decoder and smart card. Unfortunately no exploria connection.

The unit has its own private entrance. - with a small enclosed courtyard. Small portable braai to use. Bring own charcoal.
bedroom/kitchenette "Bachelor style" Sleeps 2. (double bed)
En suite Bathroom with walk in shower, basin and toilet
The Kitchenette is fitted with a 2 plate electric stove ,small fridge, microwave, airfryer, frying pan, toaster, snackwicher and an egg cooker.
We now have a gas plate and kettle, so coffee is sorted during loadshedding. ☕️🫖
We also have a fan to cool down and a heater to sort out the cold winter chills 🌬️
We do have a loadshedding light.

🔥Wood-fired Hot tub is not available ‼️

📌Please note we have guests in the house the hot tub area is exclusive for their use.

We have lovely hikes close by.

STEENBRAS GORGE ALSO KNOWN AS CRYSTAL POOLS

To get a permit for the Crystal Pools hike in Gordon's Bay, you can:

Call the Steenbras Nature Reserve at +27(0)214446927 to check if there's space

Email [email protected] with the number of people in your group and the date you want to hike

Fill out and send back the booking form that the Steenbras Nature Reserve sends you

You should request your permit at least two working days before your hike. Permits are only available from November to April, and the trail is closed the rest of the year.

Here are some other things to know about the Crystal Pools hike:

The hike is in the Steenbras Nature Reserve, which is part of the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve

The hike starts at the Steenbras River Bridge, just outside Gordon's Bay

The hike is good for adventurous hikers who want to swim in the river

The trail is mostly on excellent footpaths, but there are some steeper sections that require scrambling

You should be physically fit to complete the trail

Groups can't be larger than 10 people

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult

You should wear suitable hiking shoes and bring food, water, a first aid kit, warm clothing, and a cellphone

You should watch the weather for flash floods

The hiking permit doesn't allow abseiling

Kloofing is dangerous and not recommended unless you're with a registered guide

📍Please note we do have guests in the Main house , and we can not be held responsible if they make a little noise when they braai etc. Back yard area is not available. Only the courtyard in front of flatlet is available for your use.

During the recent storms a tree blew over next to our wood fired Hot tub and landed on our roof. We removed the tree and made a garden in it's place... Work in progress.😉

✅️ - 2 x persons / 1 x bedroom with queen size bed. R800 a night (plus a R350 cleaning and linen fee). TOTAL R3550. Exl Hot tub

✅ ️4 x persons / 2 x bedrooms with a queen size bed and a double bed is R1500 per night. (plus a R400 cleaning and linen fee). TOTAL R6400 exl Hot tub

*Please note we do not provide towels please bring your own.

🔥Hot tub is available only from Monday to Wednesdays evenings at an extra fee of R350 for this period.
