Careful screening of international travellers at airports and border crossings is essential to prevent infected visitors from entering the country and contributing to the spread of the virus.

Wild dogs and hyenas are arguably the two species that are most tolerant of our presence and the most engaging. Lions and leopards will often walk past without as much as a glance in our direction whereas these animals appear to take an active interest is us. . .

Bourke's Luck Potholes at the confluence of the Blyde and Treur Rivers at the head of the Blyde River Canyon.

The potholes were formed by waterborne rock and sand from the two rivers grinding cylindrical holes in the bedrock over millions of years. The Potholes were named after gold prospector Tom Burke who staked a claim in the area in the 1800s but never succeeded in finding gold in the area himself.

Part of the satisfaction of Safari industry is when customers become friends, I've stumbled upon this from Feb 2011, written by the (then) Nicola Hollyhead, now Nicola Mans:
"The safari experience provided by Christo is second to none. Christo makes the effort to get to know his guests so that he can personalise the experience so you get the most out of it. The food served is fantastic, a really South African experience. Christos’ knowledge of both the animals and flora and fauna is impressive and brings that extra something to the experience. Myself and my family have been on safari with Christo three times and have seen the big five plus so much more every trip."
