Great news! South Africans will have the opportunity to visit most national parks for free for one week this month, including the Kruger National Park.

This special occasion will start with a celebratory event at Marakele National Park on the 8th of September 2024, followed by the 19th annual SA National Parks Week from the 9th of September to the 13th of September 2024. It will be extended to the weekend of 14th and 15th September at selected national parks.

"During this period, free access is granted to most of the 21 national parks under the management of South African National Parks," SanParks said in a statement.
