PAUL JENKENS FPMF REPLY ON LETTER TO GOVERNMENT
Dear Kgomotso / Mr Radebe
Good day ,
I am the founder of the above campaign.
We presented the premier of KZN with our demands (please see attached original memorandum attached). and were ignored .
Mass action in KZN followed (18/07/2018 Mandela day ).
National highways were blocked unlawful arrests were made and chaos followed. We made national and international headlines.
Our movement grows daily and now is country wide.
I emphatically state that we want the personal attention of the president as per our original memorandum.
However he has asked me to address this to your department .
I do believe this is a proverbial " passing of the buck" and delay tactic.
We hereby request answers and feedback within 3 working days regarding the following :
# We insist on an immediate committee to be formed including representatives from our organisation.
# We insist on a immediate reduction of fuel to R10/l as a order.
# We insist that all major role players including economists and lobbyists be included in this committee.
Should we have not entered into mediation you leave us with no futher option but to institute further mass action including but not limited to highway blocks country wide. We have strategic planning including barricading ports and harbors , delaying national traffic , blocking airports , downing tools , non payment of taxes , boycotts , disruption of international events.
By our actions on 18/07/2018 you can see that the public are serious and have had enough.
We beseech you to avoid turmoil in this country by entering into talks with us .
We have over 105 different areas within South Africa and grow daily.
As mentioned above we insist on answers no later than 25/07/2018.
Please see attached the letter from the president , the original memorandum and some other material.
I expect to be contacted on 0766482353 as soon as possible and would regard it as a matter of national concern
Regards
Paul Jenkins
